dat zal er waarschijnlijk wel van komen. Ik heb ook wel iets horen waaien op het net over een D700s die een soort budgetverantwoorde FF camera zou zijn. Geen idee

Dan koop je idd best de d700.
ISO boven de 1600 zeg je.......... ik vind bv iso 800,1600 ook heel belangrijk.
Vergeet niet als de camera op pakweg ISO6400 nog behoorlijk zijn plan trekt dat je lagere zoals 1600 ook alleen maar beter worden.
Persoonlijk vind ik 12mp te weinig, voor portretten en landschap zou je toch wel het dubbele mogen hebben.

Denk je dat ze anno 2012 nog een 12mp FF gaan maken
Daarbij gaat deze 'draad' over de D800, dus als hoge Mp's je totaal niet interesseren . . .

Inderdaad, ook al gelezen... De D700s zou dan a.h.w. de echte upgrade zijn voor de D700.
Ook ergens gelezen (weet niet mee waar) dat er misschien geen D400 komt, maar eerder een D8000.

Dat klinkt best aannemelijk en verstandig .
Misschien valt er dan wel een bepaald marktsegment weg van de echte high end dx formaat.... of die d8000 zou de 'bridge' moeten maken.

ben zelf vooral benieuwd naar de verschillen tussen de d800 en d800E.. worden hele interessante vergelijkingen lijkt me..

I’ve had a lot of people asking which model I ordered; the regular D800 or the 800e where Nikon has removed the anti-aliasing filter (it’s supposed to create a little sharper images but without the filter you run the risk of certain photos having a moire pattern).

Well, I went with the model WITH the filter (the regular Nikon D800). I talked with a few friends that have shot the camera, and they suggested for the range of photos I take (from people, to sports, to fashion to travel), that I just stick with the regular D800 (which saved me a few hundred bucks to boot).

I’ve had to remove Moire from photos in Photoshop in the past and it is a BEAR!!!! Plus, from what I hear (and have seen at high-res) the D800 is so insanely sharp that I’m cool with leaving a few percent of sharpness on the table. After all, there is a program that adds sharpness in later, right?

One last thing:
I’ve had people asking:

(a) If Lightroom coming out with a Moiré removal brush is a coincidence or not? I haven’t confirmed this with anybody at Adobe or Nikon, but my guess it that’s a total coincidence (since that feature wasn’t just added to Lightroom 4 last week—-these things take a LONG time to develop, no pun intended). And…

(b) The bad thing is, all the methods for Moire removal that I’ve seen over the years all involve the slight or moderate blurring of the affected area, and I’ve yet to see any of them that do a really brilliant job of it, (including the new one in Lightroom 4, which is actually pretty decent). They reduce it to some extent, but they don’t fully remove it. The last case of Moire I had was so bad I asked our own Pete Collins to help me out, and it took him literally hours to remove it, and it included a lot of Photoshop magic, cloning, copying, and sweat.

So, in short, in the race between a few percent of extra sharpness and fear of moiré; fear won! ;-)

Mmmja, is ook echt niet meer dan een mening of een voorgevoel dat hij beter niet met de D800E in zee zou gaan.Het blijft wachten op een echte test waar gebouwen textiel of ander moiré gevoelig spul gefotografeerd werd met een D800E.

net is die testshots bekeken van die nokia...

ruis ziet er redelijk uit... (maar om het goed te noemen hebben ze nog veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel werk)
maar de kleuren, scherpte, contrast ,helderheid, .... zijn belachelijk slecht... sorry....
leuk voor holgagebruikers... een 41mpix lomo is net wat die zochten denk ik....

en dan zal die nog nie getrokken zijn met een toestel die elke dag in dezelfde zak zit als de autosleutels en het kleingeld...... en de lens dus compleet gekrast is en vol vetvlekken zit van vingers.... het is ten slotte een telefoon om te gebruiken, geen lens die je met zorg afsluit elke keer en met uiterste zorg behandelt....
