Nikon printed manuals

A lot of people buy Nikon's from other European countries and then need a printed manual in their own language, I found this a bit earlier on the Nikon site. Basically, send them the manual you can't understand, and they'll send you one you can


"If you have purchased a new product and the supplied printed manual is not in your required language, then you can exchange it for the same manual in another language using our exchange service. We can only offer this service for current products and the manual must be in new condition (unused original). Manual availability is limited to the languages supplied by Nikon Europe and differs depending on product (no Asian languages available).

1. Login to your account to register your product online. If you do not have an account click here.
2. Post your printed manual to us with the following information:
a) The language of the user manual you require.

b) Your name, address and email address to enable us to process your request quickly.
Post to the following address:
Nikon Manual Exchange Service
PO Box 11121
Dublin 3
Ireland

Please allow two weeks for delivery from the time your manual is received. If the item is unavailable we will contact you by email to let you know when the item will be back in stock."

Actually I'm swapping the Swahili manual for a Latvian one.

I thought the post might be of use to some people, that's all. It also saves BD slapping 'copyright violation' tags on every post where people are looking for manuals.
I won't bother next time.

There's a problem with the "Ignore list".
If people on your ignore list get quoted, you still get to see the text.

ontopic: this is mentioned already somewhere, but not as clear.

I'm not sure that the people who need to swap their English manual for a Dutch one will understand this message

You know I was kidding right ?

There's a problem with the "Ignore list".

My youngest daughter used my Dutch D2X manual as paint book. I still have a French one. Let's see whether I can exchange it for a Dutch manual...

Bij Canon kan je een handleiding in het nederlands kopen (30 euro) als je die nodig hebt, omruilen doen ze niet...

Mijn glas is al wel in waarde gestegen sedert aankoop. Ik schat een dikke 1,000 eur plus...

Bij een lens heb je meestal geen handleiding nodig, die schroef je gewoon op de body, en je begint er mee te werken.
Dan is een handleiding in de juiste taal minder belangrijk.

Maar als je een beetje uitkijkt, dan koop je de camerabody wel voor een lage prijs met de juiste handleiding erbij, en hoef je die niet te bestellen voor 30 euro.

Ik vind dit even interessant als dit topic

Mocht dit niet door de beugel kunnen dan moeten de mods

Theo, deze handleidingen in PDF formaat kan je ook vinden op de site van Nikon zelf (ook in het Nederlands). In dit topic gaat het, zoals de titel aangeeft, over de gedrukte exepmlaren .
