OK folks, I did some tests with Sigma 18-200 OS, and compare it with 17-55IS and 70-200 f4L IS.
Overall impressions – Lens is built quite solid, it’s not EX series but still it’s better than any Tamron. Weight of 610 grams is noticeable in hands. Filter size is 72mm so expect some money to put in good UV and CPL filters. Zoom ring is damped quite well, lil’ bit stiff 50-100mm.
AF is ok, sure not like Canon but have in mind that there is no HSM.
OS work very well. It takes approx. 0.8s to stabilize the picture in viewfinder. Expect to gain 3 stops with OS, I even get 200mm 1/15 without any problems.
Rest of the test is on our Serbian photo forum. Test pictures are quite big(few mb), so be patient if you have 56k line!

Thank you.
