  • HELP! I´M EMBARRASSED

Help! I bought yesterday a hp photsmart 735 . The problem is the very large amount of hotpixels that the CCD has (i tested with the DeadPixelTest program and it detects at ISO 400 in order of thousand of hotpix) and inclusive in dark conditions they are easy visible in the TFT. Must I bring back the cam to the customer? It´s normal in a machine about of 300 €? It cost me 259 with 128 mb SD. Thanx a lot

      Plastelina,

What application did you use to test it, and where can I find this little program? I would be interested in testing my 5050Z.

      Thanks,

      David

A few hotpixels can be tolerable, as many as you say : bring it back and demand a replacement (no repair).

        Greetings,
        Fritsken.
Sony F717. (ben gebeten én besmet, fijn zo!)
**EK** allways on for me please

Did you alter the tolerances of the program?
Can you post a crop (not scaled) version of your test image?

And if possible a link to the full-scale version...

Also can you give the exif-info of your picture (shutter time, iso, F-number,...)

We will be able to help you much more with this info...

          Greetings,
          Nick
