Does anyone know if this can be legally installed on 2 computers?

The reason is, I use a PC laptop and my colleague uses a Macbook...
I've not seen any details on the Nikon site about it, so if nobody knows, I will probably end up calling NPS to ask.

    Thanks, Rob

edit.. i think I've answered my own question by digging in the NPS help files... I've mailed them anyway.

    Re: Nikon Capture Control

(I reply to myself for the benefit of anyone else thinking of using Nikon Capture control Pro)

Reply from NPS says that it is allowed to install the software on 2 PC's + make a backup copy.

One other issue I noticed. When downloading the files via USB to the PC, the default Nikon file names are not used.
It won't start with next DSCxxxx.nef in the sequence. You are asked to enter a file numbering system specific for that session.
A trick would be to look at the last recorded .nef , for example 'DSC1230.nef' . then start the download sequence at 'DSC1231.nef' It will continue the numbering 1232,1233, etc.

BUT. the camera will not know that, so the next photo recorded to CF card will also be "DSC1231.nef'

I mention it all because we keep the Nikon filename system for our archives, duplicate files could cause problems.
