Nikon is hard at work on new prime lenses. During 2008 Nikon will have 3 FF cameras on the market: the fulllframe D3, the upcoming fullframe Nikon D300x and the 24 megapixel fullframe flagship Nikon D3x.

To complement these cameras Nikon will be launching 3 new fast prime lenses this year:

* Nikon 35 1.4
* Nikon 50 1.4
* Nikon 85 1.4

Rumor has it we may also be seeing a Nikkor 24 1.4

Together with other lens releases by Nikon during the latest times, it is starting to look as if Nikon has a definitive edge on lenses compared to Canon.

Nog niets gelezen hier over, maar de 24mm F1,4 heeft dan wel mijn aandacht

1 april of niet, het wordt hoogtijd dat Nikon hier werk van maakt en een 85mm 1.4 AFS VR met nano-cristal-coating in het bijzonder

Ook Sony komt dit jaar nog uit met een 24 megapixel FF camera, waarschijnlijk heeft Nikon deze sensor dan ook bij Sony laten fabriceren.
