Dear Mr Hans,
I am Hong Hoang, Communications Manager of WWF Greater Mekong.
I am sorry that I am disturbing you again, but I am writing to really ask you to consider supporting our fundraising event in Hanoi in December.
At the moment, we are collecting photo donations from other internationalconservation organizations, as well as from professional photographers in Vietnam and other countries, for the Photo Exhibition at the Wild Masquerade,
ekong/index.cfm?uNewsID=87380, which aims to raise awareness and also raise funds for WWF's on-going two-year project to curb illegal wildlife trade and consumption in Vietnam. The best photos, including the ones by professional photographers, will be listed for the silent auction, to raise more funds
for continuing our project.
We would highly appreciate it, if you could donate a few of your amazing wildlife photos, for the Photo Exhibition, and for the auction. I myself really love them. Of course we would love to have the prints and your autograph on them, but as the date is coming so close (2 December), you can send us the photo digital files, and we will have them printed and framed from here.
Of course all of the photos will be properly credited. In addition to that, we will write a paragraph about the contributing photographers and print their photos in our Wild Masquerade Booklet, which will be given to every guest at the event. I therefore will have to ask you to write a short
paragraph about yourself, and caption for the photos. We will also list your name on the Thank You Banner at the venue, as well as in the Thank You Advertisement on two English-language publications in Vietnam - the Vietnam News and Vietnam Economic Times. I will later send you photos of the event and a soft copy of the Booklet, for you to share the happy moments and
successes of the event with us.
I would be grateful if you could let me know your decision soon, as we will need to finalize the items for the auction, for printing the Booklet, by Thursday 23 November.
Once again, thank you for everything.
Best wishes,
Hong
