Tiffen has packaged the 3 most basic essential filters everyone needs in 1 package. This lens filter set includes a UV Protector, Circular Polarizer & 812 Color Warming Toner, along with genuine Tiffen 4 Filter Cordura Pouch for safe and sturdy storage.
UV Protector is the most basic, filtering some UV, with no color shift. Usually kept on lens at all times, even under the other two, for basic protection, taking the dirt and hits that would otherwise end up on the much more expensive lens itself.
Polarizer filters are essential for shooting outdoors. They saturate blue skies, minimize haze and enhance contrast. Also reduce, and sometimes stop, glare and reflections from glass, water and non metallic objects. A must for shooting through windows. Render colors richer and deeper. Rotate for desired effect. Many outdoors shooters combine polarizers with Tiffen Enhancing filter.
812 warming filter, available only from Tiffen, is great for enhancing skintones. Considered a must for doing portraits, especially taken in cloudy, shady and sunny conditions. Also absorbs blue from electronic flashes and is popular for scenic shots. Effectively warms up pale skintones.
