    "Just act normal"

    So. Meet Finn, my youngest son.
    I put him in front of a wall and said, "Just act normal" What did I get?

    A 6 year old being normal.... of course!

    He was changing his "normal" expression as fast as I could fire the shutter.

    ......<sigh>

    I sure like it a lot, but what's your aim with the empty right part of each pic?
    I expect somebody or something to pop-up anytime.
    I must admit that this kind of crop, repeated 3 times makes me curious. (that's perhaps your aim isn't it? do you act normal that way)

    edit: I'v been looking at the panos (marvelous) on your site and I think that it became a second nature, so you also did it with your sons pics.

      Oh, and I like the big empty parts on the right... don't really know why, but they just seem to go with the pictures..

            In some ways you are right, I really like the feel of wide images that make you look from side to side. To me, standard 3:2 format just seems like looking at the world with one eye closed. Curiosity is good. I'm glad it got you thinking and wondering...

            The colour of that wall is what I really liked, to crop him to a classic shape seemed a shape. I just loved that warm shadowing onto the red wall.
