Ja, in Newfoundland staat het er in juli op sommige plaatsen vol van deze wilde irissen, meestal niet ver van de rand van de kliffen.
Omdat er zoveel bij elkaar staan is het dikwijls niet gemakkelijk om ze geïsoleerd te kunnen fotograferen.
