Ik vrees dat ik Bouk volg. Nr 1 heeft naar mijn smaak geen goeie compositie, noch achtergrond, noch standpunt. Je tweede is een beetje beter maar hij oogt voor mij niet comfortabel, waarschijnlijk mede door de belichting (flash beter niet gebruikt denk ik). Sorry !

This beautiful subject (the rose) deserves a much better approach and much more attention.
Keep practising, and I suggest that you post in 'fotobeoordeling', where you should get better tips than here.
