Dit is een samenstelling om bij na te denken. Is het een gewone fantasie of zit er meer achter ? Vind het heel interessant alhoewel de kleur (lichtinvloed) en de ruis mijn enthousiasme wat temperen.

First of all congrats on HOF.

on your question. Although i am a poor EOS R user R5 can handle much much more than ISO 800, BUT Light is poor and if i have to guess you shot wide open. No idea which lens was used BUT most lenses need to be stopped down with 1 full stop to be sharp (if the lens is F4 you need to go to 5.6 etc.) When you get too close it gets worse and you need to know and experiment with your lens. Lacking good light will always make your pic look like they lack detail. I hope this answers the technical part.

Update. I checked the EXIF in Flickr and you actually stopped down 2 full stop (good), BUT lack of light is still there so do not expect wanders. For the conditions, this is more than good.

Ditch the frame or if you are using one keep it simple. This is what some call minimalistic style and to my taste it is well executed. Frame adds contrast and complexity away from the shot which makes it a distraction.
