Op mijn 30D en 400D waren de 24-105 en 70-200 2.8L IS niet altijd superscherp volopen. Vooral de 70-200 2.8 vond ik relatief soft. Op mijn 5D MKII en 5D heb ik dit probleem niet. Misschien dat het met de resolutie van het glas te maken heeft? Ik zou het echt niet weten.

However this excellent full-frame performance does come at some cost to APS-C users; perceived sharpness is reduced (due simply to the extra magnification imposed by the smaller sensor), and this amplifies the impression of softness wide open. Of course on APS-C the lens still benefits from the 'sweet spot' effects of extremely low distortion and negligible vignetting, so in the grand scheme of things this is something of a case of swings and roundabouts, with different benefits enjoyed by users of each format.

Hoe dat dan juist zit??? Ze hebben het ook over minder contrats. En de op FF voor flare en CA gevoeligere Nikon... heeft dan te maken met 1/ hoeveelheid licht en stralenbundel (=> contrast ook ifv lenshelderheid en bijgevolg geoptimaliseerd naar crop of FF) en 2/ kwaliteit van het glas tov de sensor??
