Hier wordt de scherpte van de drummer volledig bepaald door de flits, vind deze anders wel goed hoor...

sorry guys, no tricks there at all.
single SB800 on the camera.
The camera is just rotated around the lens and the rear-curtain flash freezes the action at the last position.

Ok, it's moving away from the initial question of IS/VR but shooting that guy with IS or VR in that dark club wouldn't have made a difference, He was just moving far too quickly.

Welke minimum sluitertijd is nog te gebruiken om een stilstaand beeld te hebben met een lens die GEEN ' IS ' heeft ?

Zou het veel belangrijker zijn om de maximum sluitertijd te weten en die bedoel je ook

thats what i mean, 3 sec doesn't make a difference here, because
the "action" was frozen bij the (2nd curtain) flash ... hence "tricked".
3 sec does make a difference for the effect though ...
