After 10 long days of photographing PoléPolé in Gent. Collecting 120GB of smiles, music, fun, atmosphere. I can totally recommend this bag to anyone who needs to carry something like:

    D2X with 17-55 fitted
    70-200mm
    10.5mm
    SB800
    Batteries

I would suggest to use a shoulder strap + the waist belt if you're going to be carrying it for a long time.
My back would have given up a long time ago if I'd used my backpack or full sized shoulderbag.

It's survived crushing crowds, beer, rain and being dropped during an intense working week.

This bag gets a big from me

Ik gebruik deze tas ook al meer dan een jaar, een zeer handig ding.
Tip : neem er dadelijk het draagstel bij want je kan er flink wat gewicht insteken en dan gaat het draagcomort toch wel achteruit.

How would you handle accessing your gear while the thing is on your back. Do you need to take it off? Can you reach out and get to your things?

I've collected a number of should bags, backpacks, lens cases, waist belt and even the harness over time, but I've never completely found what I needed. I'd like to swap between my 24-70 and 70-200 on the spot, and that's doable with the waist belt, but then I have no room for accessories such as the flash, or the memory cards, or ...

Perhaps if I could drop in the store and check it out, but this looks like such a rare bag to find in the shop.

            Dave,

I was using it at the weekend when we bumped into each other at PolePole beach.
Drop round sometime and see what you think with your gear in it.

            Rob.
