Ik ben er me bewust van dat dit onderwerp al in andere topics aan bod is gekomen. De reden waarom ik het afzonderlijk opwerp is, enerzijds, omdat ik ernstig twijfel tussen beide als upgrade voor een 20D en, anderzijds, het volgende:
Op DPreview wordt het volgende gesteld:
Terwijl op Imaging Resource bijna het tegenovergestelde wordt geponeerd:
Persoonlijk lijkt me de opinie van Imaging Resource iets overtuigender. DPreview baseert zich op 'per-pixel sharpness' (wat op zich al een vreemd begrip is - een pixel is m.i. altijd even scherp) maar bovendien is het niet omdat ik een 50D heb dat ik nu plots alles groter ga beginnen afdrukken.
Als ik de testfoto's zonder ruisonderdrukking op Imaging Resource van de 50D (vb ISO 1600 hier: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PROD...01600NROFF.HTM en de 40D (vb hier: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PROD...SLI1600XNR.HTM) naar hetzelfde formaat breng, dan merk ik dat het ruis ongeveer hetzelfde is maar dat de 50D toch meer detail vertoont en scherper is.
Ook op DXOmark krijgt de 50D een hogere score voor ruis op hoge ISO. (zie http://www.dxomark.com/index.php/eng/DxOMark-Sensor)
Enfin, dit alles om te tonen dat ik wat huiswerk gemaakt heb. Mijn vraag is of er al een BD lid overgestapt is van de 40D naar de 50D en wat zijn of haar bevindingen zijn.
