That's why I kept the D2X.. It's still my main studio camera.

I guess I'm the only one who's not impressed with the D3 AF setup?

Used in portrait position, in studio.. It's a pig.
Used in landscape, it's a dream.

I think I know what you mean even though for me its different .. with the D2X I have probs when working in portrait mode .. if I am correct the upper (perimeter) AF sensors are not cross sensors which makes it harder for them to follow movement in action shots...
