Nieuwsfoto in de Telegraaf van vandaag de NASA gebruikt ook nog een 3D bril.

Na het lezen van deze site 3D STEREO dacht ik: 'dat is wel weer eens een leuke uitdaging voor de liefhebbers.'
De doos met oude foto's gezocht... en ja hoor, daar kwam zo'n stereoplaatje van jaren terug weer in beeld.
Nu nog even zelf een 3D foto testje maken en ik kan weer foto's in 3D gaan fotograferen net als vroeger alleen nu digitaal en in kleur.

De schele ogen truuk werkt perfect!!! Maar je mag het niet te lang doen, anders krijg je er koppijn van.

Yep, werkt ook bij mij, begin er wel scheel van te zien

Je kan er ook een foto van maken die met zo'n rood/groen glas brilletje kan bekijken.

Hints for photographing stereoscopic images

What's the principle of three-dimensional viewing?
Due to the horizontal distance of our two eyes, each eye sees the environment from another view. If you pinch the right and left eye alternating, you can compare the two different images directly. If you look at the thumb on your outstretched arm in relation to far distant objects, the difference of the two pictures is obvious. To create stereo images you have to take two photographs, that are made from slightly horizontally shifted points of view. Both pictures must then be presented to the two eyes separately. In case of anaglyph images this is done with the help of red/green or red/blue eyeglasses.

How to take the photographs?
When making the photographs, the distance between the left and right picture must be selected properly in order to get a good viewing result. A too small horizontal distance of the two photographs produces a too small depth, an excessive distance produces unnatural constellations, a relaxed view of the stereo image is then no longer possible. Since the two photographs can not be made simultaneously, it is of course not possible to photograph moving objects this way. For this case you would need a stereo camera, which is equipped with two lenses and which simultaneously takes both pictures. However our method has an advantage in comparison to a stereo camera: since the distance of the two photographs can be selected freely, it is also possible to create extreme close-up stereo images, as these require a very small distance between the left and the right image (values see below).

The proper distance between the photographs depends on the focal length of the lens and the distance to the object.
If you use a lens with 50mm focal length, the following values apply (approximately):

______10-15__________________________ 4-5
______15-oo__________________________ 5-10

If you use lenses with different focal lengths, the optimal distances can be determined by just trying out.

Werkt bij mij niet ik heb gewoon geen dieptezicht... bij de oogarts zie ik ook altijd dingen die ik niet zou mogen zien...
