    Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VI & Sigma 70-200 F2.8

    Ben aan 't wijfelen tussen de nikon VRI ( tweedehands) of de sigma met os, moet naar 't schijnt ook goed zijn.
    Ik weet dat de nikon VRI niet zo goed is als de VRII, maar is ze dan nog altijd beter dan de sigma?

    De discussie met het verschil tussen de Nikon en Sigma is hier al vele malen gevoerd evenals verschillende keren een draadje gestart over het verschil tussen de VRI en VRII (dus niet VI )
    De geavanceerde zoekfunctie zal je hierbij van grote dienst kunnen zijn: http://forum.belgiumdigital.com/sear...?search_type=1

    Zelf ook een regelmatig gebruiker van de zoekfunctie, daarmee

      Ik kan uit ervaring zeggen dat de VR I zeker beter presteert dan de "oude" sigma zonder OS. Over de nieuwe kan ik niets zeggen

      Persoonlijk zou ik voor de 2de hands nikkor gaan ... valt ze dan toch tegen, dan krijg je ze wss snel terug verkocht zonder er geld aan te verliezen

          Ik heb gemerkt, in de praktijk en voor de testwand, dat de Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS een erg fijn objectief is met effectieve OS.

            It's now over a decade since Sigma's original 70-200mm F2.8 APO design first saw the light of day, and after three successive makeovers, the company clearly felt it was time to start again from scratch. The result is this: the 70-200mm 1:2.8 EX DG OS HSM, which despite its similar-sounding name is a completely new design. It was announced back in February alongside four other lenses, as Sigma stole the show at an otherwise-quiet PMA 2010. The 'OS' stands for 'Optical Stabilizer', this being is the first image-stabilized fast telephoto zoom to emerge from a third-party lens maker. Indeed the combination of in-lens stabilization and Sigma's ultrasonic-type 'HyperSonic Motor' (HSM) focusing is sure to make a compelling package for a wide range of users - it's considerably cheaper than Canon and Nikon's similar options, while offering the option of optical stabilization to Sony and Pentax users for the first time in this type of lens.

            Nikon first announced the development of the AF-S VR Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF in February 2002, with the lens becoming available to buy in April 2003. Billed by Nikon as a 'compact, lightweight' fast telephoto, the lens features a complex optical design of 21 elements in 15 groups, including no fewer than 5 Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements for the correction of aberrations. It improves on its predecessor, the AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8G, mainly by incorporating an optical image stabilisation unit (or in Nikon speak, 'vibration reduction'), allowing hand holding at shutter speeds up to three stops lower than normal without image degradation due to camera shake.

It's the successor to the AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm 1:2.8G ED VR which first appeared in 2003, and brings to the table an entirely remastered optical system designed to match the demands of the latest high resolution FX format cameras such as the D3X, accompanied by an improved vibration reduction system which Nikon claims offers up to four stops stabilization.
