OnRequest Images is looking for a few of the best photographers in Belgium to join our network.

We need photographers that can shoot film and/or digitally. You MUST have the capability to deliver high-resolution digital images (at least 300 PPI at 8x10….which translates to about 5.5 mega-pixels or higher). If you can shoot medium format, that is a valuable plus, but is not required.

Our Custom Stock™ service is offered to our clients, including advertising agencies, publishers, graphic design companies, and corporate marketing departments. These clients use the service to have custom stock images created for their advertising campaigns, marketing brochures, corporate reports, and books.

The concept is simple. The customer specifies the images that they need. We send out an assignment to a selected group of photographers. Photographers can choose to sign up for an assignment or not.

Once signed up, each photographer shoots the assignment and uploads a set of images. Or if you already have existing images that fit their needs, you can just submit them. The customer reviews the images and selects the ones that they want to license. If your image(s) is/are selected by the customer as the one that they want to use, then we will license the image to them and you get paid for your image. You receive a royalty payment of 50% of the net revenue that we receive, if your image is licensed.

And, in addition to the opportunity with the immediate client…….from the submitted images, we will select the best images from each photographer to add to our stock image library, and will begin marketing those images to our clients. Each time your images are licensed to a client, you continue to receive a royalty payment of 50% of the net revenue that we receive.

We are very photographer friendly and we promote the protection of photographer’s rights. Each photographer retains the copyright for all images submitted and we request full photographer photo credits on all assignments.

De enige eis die in hoofdletters (MUST) wordt benadrukt is 300 ppi (8X10) ofwel ca 5,5 MP

Ik kan hier een hééééél lang verhaal houden, maar... En ja, ik begrijp wel dat dit waarschijnlijk gevraagd wordt vanwege afdrukeisen, maareh... Bottomline: een hele goede 3 MP-foto is ALTIJD beter dan een redelijke 5,5 MP-foto. En als het niet gaat om een producent van deurposters, dan is een goede 3 MP-foto trouwens voldoende

In mijn ogen diskwalificeren ze zichzelf vanwege deze begineis. Mocht iemand van requestimage dit lezen, ik wil best in discussie treden over 3 MP en afdrukkwaliteit

Upsampelen die hap . Ik wil wel eens weten hoe dat zit met het feit dat een goede 3MP beter is. Een pixel is toch een pixel, of niet?

ik kreeg hem vanmorgen ook binnen, maar nog eens niet verder geklikt en in de prullenbak gedaan..

Ha Ronald, ja een pixel is een pixel, dat wel. Maar er staat ook niet een goede 3 MP, er staat een goede 3 MP-foto . Dus ook al is een pixel altijd een pixel: Liever 3 miljoen goede dan 5,5 miljoen slechte
