Om kort te gaan:

7x"20" vervangen door OLYMPUS = 4F4C594D505553
4x"20" vervangen door PAN(space) = 50414E20
302E30 vervangen door 1.0 = 312E30

Nu nog een HEX editor vinden...

Ik kreeg al een reply terug:

"I had to access the ncessary blocks through a Diamond Rio Mp3 player, and I used the software Dreamingof Brazil which only works with the Rio to extract an image of the card to a file, edit the file, and dump the image back to the card. (And the Rio only supports up to 32MB cards so my current 128MB card remains unaltered.) The only other way I know of doing it is the SMPREP hack method described on these web sites, and of course you need a card reader that supports it to do that. Other than that, unless you can get technical info from the card reader's manufacturer and write some software to access the blocks I know of no way to do it."


Dus: zijn methode gaat niet lukken. Later eens zoeken naar die "SMPREP hack"...
