6.2 effective Megapixel SuperCCD SR sensor (same one as in the F700; that 6.2MP number is up for some debate, as well.) produces image with 2832 x 2128 pixels; Sensor has 3.1 million effective S-pixels and 3.1 effective R-pixels.
F2.8-3.1, 6X optical zoom lens (same as on the S7000), equivalent to 35 - 210 mm
Full manual controls; shutter speed range of 30 - 1/10000 sec, plus bulb mode

Ja, qua features is het inderdaad weinig nieuws... (enkel D-TTL, geen i-TTL; geen colour matrix metering; ...)
't Is te hopen voor Fuji dat die SR sensor wel een verschil maakt in qualiteit

Hmm het is natuurlijk een doorontwikkeling van de S2 maar niets nieuws zou ik toch niet zeggen. Als die SR technologie werkt dan maakt de sensor technologie eens een echte stap vooruit ipv juist wat meer pixels. En de S2 had al zowat de beste CCD op de markt dus dit zou toch wel iets belangrijks kunner zijn. Want ondertussen heeft hun SuperCCD technologie toch al bewezen wel degelijk een meerwaarde te zijn.
