Ik vroeg me af wat het verschil is tussen een compactflash 1 en 2 type. Zijn ze compatibel? Krijg je een type 1 in een type2 slot?

Ik weet er het fijne niet van, maar dat is wel wat men noemt downward compatible, wat gewoon wil zeggen dat een type1 zeker in een type2 slot kan gebruikt worden, andersom niet (denk ik?)

Dacht ik nu even dat CF-type 2 gewoon een microdrive was. Klopt dit of ben ik nu al aanhet dementeren
In m'n fuji 602,die officieel enkel Microdrive ondersteunt, werkt m'n gewone CF uitstekend. Dus volledig compatibel zou ik durven stellen

Voor een MicroDrive moet je toestel CF-type2 compatibel zijn, wat bij de S602z het geval is.
En volgens mij ondersteunt de S602z officieel ook CF-geheugen hoor

The only difference between CF Type I and CF Type II cards is the card thickness. CF Type I is 3.3 mm thick and CF Type II cards are 5mm thick. A CF Type I card will operate in a CF Type I or CF Type II slot. A CF Type II card will only fit in a CF Type II slot.The electrical interfaces are identical.
