    PHP editor

    hello,

    heb een vraagje aan eventuele PHP-programmeurs hier op het forum...
    Ik heb een cursus PHP van internet gehaald om mijn vrij beperkte basiskennis php bij te schaven.

    ik werkte tot nu toe in Dreamweaver om php te "programmeren" maar zijn er betere alternatieven (eventueel gratis) die bv je code checken etc.... ?

    Alle tips zijn welkom!

      Alternatief is eclipse met php plugin, maar ook wel complexer:

          wat betreft die php extensions vond ik deze "requirements" op de pagina :

            Wie is nu het eerst?
            De java jdk ga je denk ik effectief afzonderlijk moeten installeren. Je kan eerst es zonder proberen. Je weet nooit :-).

            Voor installatie van eclipse unzip je waar je alles wil en dan kun je meteen, zonder install vanuit die folder runnen. Vervolgens via
            Help > software updates > find and install
            de plugin installeren.

            edit, zo:

            Update Manager - The update manager installation is done via the update manager of the already installed Eclipse. Go to Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install. Choose the "Search For New Feature to Install" and add a new site with the following link "http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/" and press Next to start the update process.
            For additional installation community resources, please go to Additional Resources section below.

                ik veronderstel dat jullie ook in php programmeren?

                we kunnen misschien msn adres uitwisselen voor ervaringen en vragen?

                  heb nog een vraagje... zou mijn laptop veel snelheidsverlies lijden als ik lokaal PHP/MYSQL/APACHE/PHPMYADMIN draai?

                  config laptop :
                  Windows XP SP2
                  AMD Turion X2 TL-50 (1,6ghz)
                  2gb RAM
                  80gig HD

                  Je kan Apache en MySQL toch aan- en uitschakelen als je die niet nodig hebt he?
                  en voor zover ik weet vraagt php niet zoveel...

                      Eclipse is een fantastische ontwikkelomgeving voor Java programmeurs, geen idee of het ook zo schitterend is voor iemand die hoofdzakelijk PHP en HTML gebruikt...

                        Xampp is inderdaad supergemakkelijk! En je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt

                        Ik heb wel al eens in php geprogrammeerd, maar het zit ver nu

                          ok, bedankt... die xampp ziet er vet handig uit

                          heb van me leven 1x php/mysql geinstalleerd en dat ging wel maar heb gerotzooid met phpmyadmin

                            heb XAMPP geinstalleerd maar apache kan niet gestart worden omdat poort 80 niet beschikbaar zou zijn...

                            enig idee hoe ik dit kan verhelpen?

                              IIS stoppen?
                              Skype (durft ook wel eens poort 443 openen, en apache/xampp wil die ook gebruiken)
