Digital pictures on DVD

Anyone who knows a good (working))program for putting Digital pictures (JPEG's) on DVD via a PC software ?
I used PictureToTV but I got problems with burning the album on CD

Picture2TV works fine for me, what kind of burning problems you have?

I am getting immediately an error when the burning process starts with hardly no detail (cannot recall exactly but quite general error message which says there was an error with burning the cd)
Maybe it has to do with the software which is installed on my DELL pc : ADAPTEC.
I read about other softwares available out there (NERO...).
Any recommendations ?
