Ik vertrouw het voor geen haar en zal er zeker niet op klikken, nog iemand deze mail gekregen?

niet klikken.
Gewoon een keer rechtstreeks naar paypal surfen en inloggen en dan zal je daar ook een melding krijgen als het zo is. Maar hoogstwaarschijnlijk is het gewoon phishing

Ben je daar anoniem en in het Engels ingeschreven?

Zij spreken u steeds aan met uw naam en in de taal van registratie.
Vragen om accountgegevens doen ze nooit.

Is een nederlandstalige registratie VerSeg, ik heb net eens ingelogd en alles ziet er perfect normaal uit.
Geen meldingen of abnormale transacties te zien.
Bedankt voor het helpen meedenken, nooit zover gedacht.

Zoals altijd, headers nakijken en in de source kijken waar de link naar verwijst. ls je gewoon over de link gaat staan zonder te klikken zou je moeten zien waar die naar verwijst. In elk geval, als je niet met je naam waarmee je registreerde aangesproken wordt dan is het phishing.

lijkt mij geen zinsconstructie die ze zouden gebruiken.

Helaas (voor hen) maken ze nogal wat fouten.
1. Naar het verkeerde e-mailadres gestuurd i.p.v. naar het adres waarmee ik bij paypal aangemeld ben.
2. "Dear client" i.p.v. mijn naam.
3. de link wijst NIET naar paypal maar een site in Gabon (***.ga)
4 de afzender is paypal@check.com en niet *@paypal.com
5. de server waarvan gestuurd werd is (62.138.141.29 ) telefonica.de
6. de footer bevat geen links naar help, contact enz....
7. "beetje" krom Engels.

In mei nog zo eentje gehad. Gewoon doorsturen naar spoof@paypal.com.
Als antwoord kreeg ik het volgende:

In mei nog zo eentje gehad. Gewoon doorsturen naar spoof@paypal.com.

Ik stuur spam (niet alleen paypal maar alles) naar spamcop.net. Dat gaat met 1 klik en dan worden automatisch mails gestuurd naar de antispamdiensten van de provider vanwaar verstuurd werd en de hosting waar spammers hun website hebben. Op die manier komen spammers ook in de blacklists terecht (spamhaus e.d.) die op mailservers gebruikt worden om spam tegen te houden. Ik zie op mijn mailserver 10-tallen mails geweigerd worden wegens gekende spambronnen, bovenop wat ik zelf filter en in mijn spamfolder zie verschijnen.
De gestolen data van Adobe lijkt ondertussen al overal verspreid te zijn want het adres dat ik daar gebruikte krijgt het grootste deel van de spam.

En mocht er na deze info nog iemand twijfelen: ik heb dezelfde e-mail gehad en ik heb(en nooit gehad) geen PayPal account...
