Tweaken van 300D

Niet voor mij, ik heb de 10D, maar een vriend die nog moet kopen interesseert zich hiervoor.

This is not the 10D firmware, it is the 300D firmware with some of the dormant 10D features enabled. The developers probably shared the codebase between the two models. The 10D firmware will not work on your 300D.

Yoo de Peter,

Otto's post somt gewoon alle custom functions van de 10D op. Maar sommigen werken niet, of werken anders (afhankelijk van de "fysieke" limieten van de 300D).

Hier vind je al wat meer info wat betreft pro & cons en zo...

...maar om kort te gaan: dé perfecte hacked firmware is er nog niet. Al is de laatste er al dichtbij; enkel AI servo werkt nog niet (manueel kiezen kan, afdrukken niet). Ik vermoed dat in de komende weken Wasia (de Russische hacker) op de proppen zal komen met een nieuwe firmware waar dit laatste bugje is uitgehaald.

Als het zover is, lees je het wel op BD. Ik hou dit in het oog want ik zit er op te wachten. Stay tuned!

The firmware hack breaks the count down display when used timed shutter release. It only counts starting from 2, although it still waits the full 10 seconds. The light on the front still flashes. It's only the LCD countdown display that seems affected.
