Canon is to offer a locking mode dial modification to its existing EOS 5DMII and 7D users. Much like the locking dial found on Canon's latest D-SLR - 60D - the modification is designed to prevent you accidently knocking or changing the shooting mode halfway through the shoot.
The modification will cost £72 for 5D MII users and £76 for 7D users with delivery included if it's sent to Canon's repair centre at Elstree. To arrange a suitable modification for your camera call Elstree on 0844 369 0100 and select option 2.
