* Capteur CMOS « Exmor », 23,5 x 15,6 mm, 4288 x 2856 pixels. Il semble que Sony se tourne désormais vers la technologie CMOS après avoir longtemps prôné le CCD
* Système de stabilisation d'image par déplacement du capteur Super Steady Shot. Le système a été amélioré et permet desormais de gagner 2,5 incréments de vitesse au télé et jusqu'à 4 incréments de vitesse avec une focale normale
* Monture d’objectif Sony Alpha, compatible avec les baïonnettes Minolta-A : quatre nouveaux objectifs sont annoncés en même temps que l'Alpha 700 : un 55-200mm f/4-5,6 à 250€, un 18-250 f/3,5-6,3 à 600€ et un 16-105 f/3,5-5,6 qui arrivera en fin d'année à 600€ seul, ou 1900€ en kit avec l’Alpha 700. Une optique G 70-300 mm f/4,5-5,6 à motorisation SSM est également en cours de développement.
* Processeur Bionz de nouvelle génération. Sony annonce une amélioration importante de la vélocité d'ensemble du boîtier, mais aussi une amélioration significative du traitement du bruit de fond, qui était un des points faibles de l'Alpha 100

* Enregistrement des images en Jpeg, Raw, cRaw (Raw compressé) ou Raw+Jpeg
* Double slot CompactFlash (compatible UDMA) et MemoryStick Duo (double slot). Hélas, les deux slots CF et MSD fonctionnent séparément et doivent être sélectionnés manuellement à travers les menus.
* Rafale à 5 images/seconde, sur 25 vues en Raw compressé, 18 vues en Raw, 16 vues en jpeg Fine ou continu en jpeg standard.
* Écran TFT, 7,5 cm, 640 x 480 pixels. Contraste 2,8x supérieur à l'écran de l'Alpha 100. Il n'y a pas d'écran ACL noir et blanc : les paramètres de prise de vue sont affichés sur l'écran couleur, qui s'allume et s'éteint automatiquement grâce au système de détection EyeStart.
* Sensibilité de 100 à 3200 ISO
* Connexions USB 2.0 et sortie HDMI type C minijack. L'Alpha 700 appartient à la grande famille des produits d'électronique grand public Sony : son interfaçage avec les écrans plats Haute Définition a donc été prévu.

The Alpha family increases. Sony raised the veil on the big brother of Alpha
100, whose career continues for the moment. Alpha 700 is a high case

of range which comes to be placed on the level of Canon EOS 40D, Nikon D300 and Pentax

K10D, under the terms of a chart cut for a practice photo projection.
Equipped with a sensor CMOS of 12 million pixels curiously similar to that

of Nikon D300, Alpha 700 is the first reflex camera entirely designed by Sony. It

do not disavow therefore the heritage of Minolta, which one finds the signature
in the technologies implemented: mechanical stabilization of the sensor,
EyeStart system… Among the characteristics in progress compared to Alpha

100, in addition to the definition of the sensor, one notes the autofocus which profits from one

detection on 11 beaches with a central sensor in cross, a sight more
comfortable offering an enlargement of 0,90x, a broad screen of 7,6 cm
posting a definition VGA and a Bionz processor of new generation, more

rapid and more effective as for the treatment of the background noise. Alpha 700 will be

marketed at the beginning of this autumn with the price of 1400 € naked case. In

choosing throw a top-of-the-range reflex camera, Sony gives the priority to
development of its public image rather than to the conquest of shares of
market, which does not prevent it from posting its ambition clearly to become

quickly uncontested N°3 of the market of the reflex cameras. Here are which predicts others

advertisements to come…

Sony Alpha 700 in the broad outline:
- Sensor CMOS “Exmor”, 23,5 X 15,6 mm, 4288 X 2856 pixels. It seems that Sony

- double slot CompactFlash (compatible UDMA) and MemoryStick Duet (double slot).

Alas, both slots CF and MSD function separately and must be
selected manually through the menus.

- Rafale with 5 images/second, on 25 sights in compressed Raw, 18 sights in Raw, 16

sights in JPEG Fine or continuous in standard JPEG.
- Screen TFT, 7,5 cm, 640 X 480 pixels. Contrast 2,8x higher than the screen of
alpha 100. There are not a black screen ACL and white: parameters of catch
of sight are posted on the color screen, which ignites and dies out
automatically thanks to the system of EyeStart detection.
- Sensitivity from 100 to 3200 ISO
- Connections USB 2.0 and left standard HDMI C minijack. Alpha 700 belongs to
the great family of the products of electronics general public Sony: its
interfacing with the flat-faced screens High definition was thus envisaged.
- Food by battery InfoLithium NP-FM500H
- Robust Design with an aluminium framework equipped with alloy with
magnesium, with sealing off the joints
- Remote control/remotely delivered release of origin
- Handle-grip vertical with resumption of orders and double site of

Een mooie camera!! Zeker voor mensen die niet om een of andere reden vast zitten aan een ander systeem, want laat ons eerlijk zijn, de camera komt véél en véél (zei ik véél?) te laat, de lenzen zijn onbetaalbaar, en de meeste mensen zijn al lang gaan lopen.
Voor de nieuwkomers denk ik dat er toch een betaalbare, verkrijgbare reeks goede lenzen moet komen. Ook de eventuele ondersteuning van de third party lenzen moet nu snel komen.
Ik ga deze body in ieder geval deftig uitproberen met de 17-35 G, 28-70G en de sigma 70-200 2.8 apo ex.
Alleen, wanneer hé...

Zeer mooi doordacht toestel met veel nadruk op beeldkwaliteit.
Nu ook bracketing optie voor DRO functie (ook in RAW)
Indrukwekkende lijst met mogelijkheden en LCD scherm

Op de user fora wordt er over een belangrijke prijsdaling in de USA gesproken, vd toplenzen zoals de 70-200 etc..

een camera wordt den dag van vandaag afgewogen op high iso hier een paar voorbeelden

Hey, dood niet hé, maar de achterstand is enorm (vooral in aanwezige basis), en de 2 groten zijn zeeer sterk.

Je hoort idd veel mensen die zijn overgeschakelt maar langs de andere kant zijn er volgens mij nog veel mensen die trouw gebleven zijn aan de minolta mount.
Kijk maar naar de hoge prijzen die nog steeds gevraagd en gekregen worden voor de lenzen.

Maarja ik ben geen analyst ofzo, ik ben vooral blij met het nieuwe model, een upgrade path is altijd leuk om te hebben

Als ik de A700 zo bekijk, heb ik wel m'n twijfels bij enkele design beslissingen. Er staan zoveel knopjes op () maar rechts naast het prisma is 't een leeg gat. Een enorme ruimte met 4 kleine knopjes en wat mij vooral stoort: geen top LCD (). Ok dat had de voorgangers ook niet, maar daar stond tenminste een draaiknop... Nu is't dit, geef toe, dat trekt toch op niks...


De environmental sealing is expliciet geen spatwaterdichtheid, en ook dat is me dunkt een misser tov de D300.

Kwa functies en instellingen is 't wel een mooi pakket!!!!

Heel veel functies op de grip ook wel, maar die is enorm!

Ik heb momenteel de KM5D. Ik hou nog alle opties open of overstappen naar Canon/Nikon of blijven. Of Sony zich uit de nichemarkt weet te worstellen? Dat zal nog wel even duren voor dat zover is. Ik ben benieuwd hoe de camera uit de reviews gaat komen, dit moet goed zitten. Als de A700 zich kan zeker kan meten met de Canon 40D en mogelijk de Nikon D300 naar de kroon kan steken... zou het pas echt interessant kunnen maken. Dan blijf ik.

Als ik de A700 zo bekijk, heb ik wel m'n twijfels bij enkele design beslissingen. Er staan zoveel knopjes op () maar rechts naast het prisma is 't een leeg gat. Of design beter had gekund, kan je volgens mij pas zeggen als je het toestel gebruikt. Persoonlijk heb ik ondertussen liever een paar handige knoppen die met een vinger bereikbaar zijn zonder mijn handen te moeten verplaatsen of zelfs zonder mijn oog van de zoeker weg te halen. De a100 werkt perfect op die manier en de knoppen van de 7D mis ik eigenlijk nog nauwelijks...

En ook een top lcd is enkel kwestie van gewoonte. Als je normaal altijd al achteraan of in de zoeker keek voor je info, dan mis je dat bovenste schermpje absoluut niet.

Op papier zit ie tussen de 40d en D300 volgens mij, maar ja de d300 is een kanjer he, die heeft buiten de sensor bijna alles meegekregen van zijn grote broer de D3, alhoewel dat dit waarschijnlijk weinig verschil maakt voor de doelgroep waar men op mikt met de A700

Heeft geen live view, maar wel preview zoals de K10D, kan een nadeel zijn, maar zonder flip screen blijven live view mogelijkheden toch nogal beperkt in gebruik, alhoewel in combi met HDMI kan dit toch heel nuttig zijn in de studio.

Als ik goed begrijp wordt wireless afstandsbediening standaard meegeleverd.
